Bastion Indie Market is a showcase for independent tabletop designers who've created something unique, quirky, or artisanally small-scale and want to share it with the world.
We're looking for games that stand out. Maybe it's 20 copies printed from your home printer, a game stitched from scraps of fabric, or a mash-up of Lego bricks and Scrabble tiles. Beautiful, weird, custom, or experimental.
If you've created something you think is special, this is your chance to show it off, find interested players and sell a few copies.
A Few Rules
To keep the spirit of the Market focused on small-press creativity:
Small-print runs only - 20-100 copies of your game is ideal.
Your game must be purchasable at the event
You must provide a complete game. Playable, playtested, and with a rulebook.
No existing distribution or publishing deals
No existing crowdfunding - past or current.
No promotion of games not on sale.
No unrelated sales - only the games you've created.
You should not have a stand at UK Games Expo
What You'll Need to Do
If your application is accepted, you'll need to:
- Pay a £25 table fee. Profits will be donated to charity.
- The market will occur May 30th from 5:30-7:30pm at the NEC in Birmingham.
- You must be present to run your table, demo your game and meet attendees.
- Have a UK Games Expo 2026 entry pass for Saturday
- Produce and bring copies of your game to sell
What We Provide
We will provide:
- A table and display space at the Market.
- A listing for your game on the Bastion Games Market website.
- Promotion of the event across Bastion Games and UK Games Expo channels.
